The objective of this project is a detailed analysis of the future technology trends and economic impacts of renewable energy sources in Spain. The time perspective of the study is 2020-2030. The study first analyzes the cost trends of renewable energy sources. Then, the potential of renewable energy sources in Spain will be analyzed. Finally, previous research results will be used to study the future needs of the Spanish electric sector for the adequate integration of the renewable energy.
